"When I was in 'Nam"

Goodbye Australia! Due to cash flow problems we have been forced out of the country a month earlier than planned. We will be quite pleased to leave to be honest - Oz has been a bit of a washout and a disapointment. Nevermind, we have rested and recuperated in preparation for Southeast Asia.

We fly to Singapore on Saturday and then onto Hanoi where we meet up with the ninja reflexed, language expert, (and general underground superhero) Andy Castro. We are booked into the Manh Dung guesthouse in the Old City which we are told is very friendly.

We are expecting a bit of a culture shock and a stomach upheaval, but I'm sure we'll get used to it. No malaria pills until Cambodia, so that should make things a little easier.
