Here we are on Magnetic Island near Townsville. We have had a week lazing by the pool and sitting on the beach. There have been a few tense tennis matches and Garry has thrashed Sam at table tennis a number of times. The weather is better - lovely blue skies all day - 26 degrees in the day and 16 at night. Not bad for winter eh?
We have decided to travel by train from Cairns to Brisbane - just the same price as the bus and we can walk about and enjoy our journey more. Sam did a classic in Cairns and left her GBP100 fleece under her pillow! Someone (understandably) stole it before we could get it back. $#!#
We have been away from home for 4 months now. Garry's sister Emma has given birth to a healthy baby girl since we've been away and Wayne Rooney was injured, but apart from that I'm not sure what else we have missed. Talking of Wayne Rooney we have organised our trip to the Whitsundays around England's games. COME ON ENGLAND!!!!!Thanks for the emails everyone. Really appreciate getting news from home. Keep them coming.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you guys are having an acetastic time. We have returned from our travels and now both feel like we need another holiday. Anne's new job is a walk in the park - she was home by 4pm every day last week. I, on the other hand, have a mountain of work to do. That is so unfair.
